That Time We Went to Breaking Grounds Café

Have you been to Breaking Ground Café? it is in Peabody, MA. From their website:

... provides employment training to people with disabilities or autism. The Café was created by Northeast Arc to support local restaurants in need of employees.

They have a really good breakfast sandwich called the Number 3. They also put artwork up on the wall. And this is what this post is about. It is not about the sausage, hash brown, egg, and cheddar with a maple drizzle on a soft bun, which I recommend to anyone that goes there. The artwork that was hanging when we went was created by the one and maybe only Brian Casey. I'm sure Brian ordered the number 3. I will note that we have a Brian Casey painting in our kitchen. We like his style and we like the person. So we are somewhat biased, but aren't we all?

Here are three I liked from the show, which is called Wires. I assume because they contain wires. But where are the birds Brian? Where are the birds?

I enjoyed taking these all in while nourishing myself with a Number 3 breakfast sandwich. Have I told how good those are? Brian Casey has been painting for a long time and while we do not get to see his stuff as often as we like, it was a treat to see so many today. Thanks to Susan Dodge for bring his stuff in and putting them on the walls.
